Walk & Murphy, P. L. C. has been auctioning agricultural real estate for over ten years. We offer a full service real estate auction service. Services provided are:
- Initial consultation with the Seller to determine marketing strategies.
- Advertising of the property.
- Preparing sales brochures and packets which would include tile maps, Auditor records, Farm Service Agency records, etc.
- Conducting the auction.
- Preparing all legal documents necessary to transfer the property, including but not limited to, Purchase Agreement, Deed, Declaration of Value, Groundwater Hazard Statement, Closing Statement and IRS Form 1099.
Rates are based on the selling price and are as follows:

1.5% (Minimum fee of $8,500.00) |
Plus actual advertising expenses. It has been our experience that advertising expenses generally range between $1,000.00 and $2,000.00 depending on the coverage requested by the Seller.
We also have a list of individuals that are always interested in purchasing agricultural real estate and specifically target those clients with letters and brochures.
